Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: W. Chinden Blvd. & W. Explorer Dr., Boise, ID 83713 (on-site)
Pay Range: $19-20/hour
Start Date: 12/2/24
Duration: Contract-to-hire, seeking long-term, full-time employees
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM MST (40 hours per week) - will work 1 Saturday per month
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- At least one year of healthcare experience.
- Experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or pharmacy claims.
- PTCB or NHA certification preferred, but not required.
Job Duties:
- Receive, enter, and process prescriptions according to established protocols.
- Review all pertinent medical documentation sent in from healthcare providers.
- Obtain a fundamental understanding of the product for quick pharmacy assistance.
- Resolve open orders through communication with pharmacists and the customer experience team.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws.
- Work collaboratively with the management team and pharmacists.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
